Sharron Cirillo

Founder, Fraud Specialist, and Non-Profit Specialist

Sharron founded our Middletown, DE accounting firm in 2005. An experienced Accountant, Sharron has worked in the Accounting field for over 15 years advising clients in the areas of compliance, internal controls, customized reporting and process improvement. She has advanced expertise in working with non-profits and tech-forward environments.

Sharron is passionate about small business and non-profits and loves to help clients use technology to reduce overhead and to make more informed decisions. She serves on several boards including PAWS for People, Autism Delaware, and the Delaware Association of Public Accountants.

Sharron has three children and enjoys her involvement on many boards and committees, yoga, and traveling.

Jennifer Trainer

Practice Manager

Jennifer has been an integral part of the SC Associates Team since February 2008. Her responsibilities include administrative support, client service, and general operations.

Jennifer has three children. Outside of the office, Jennifer enjoys many outdoor activities and is also an avid reader.

Julie O'Flynn

Bookkeeping Manager

Julie brings extensive experience in all aspects of the bookkeeping spectrum.  Before joining the firm, Julie worked as an accounting manager for a general contractor. She also has over 15 years of experience in various industries covering everything from payroll to accounts payable to property taxes.

Outside the office, Julie enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering with nearby organizations.

Rebecca Wood

Senior Tax Accountant

Becca joined the firm in April 2021 after 3 years in the Banking Industry. Prior to working in Finance, she spent several years supporting office functions for a local energy business.

In 2019, Becca earned her master’s degree in finance from Goldey-Beacom College.

Outside of the office, Becca enjoys spending time with her dog, family, and friends.

Kathleen Gingerich

Tax Planning Specialist

Kathleen joined the firm in June 2021. Kathleen brought with her 14 years of experience in bookkeeping and payroll processing for various types of small businesses.

In 2013 Kathleen earned her master’s degree in Accounting from Wilmington University.

Outside of the office, Kathleen enjoys spending time with her husband, dog, family and friends

Nicole Byrne

Front Desk Administrator

Nicole joined the team in November of 2021. Her responsibilities include administration and client interaction.

Outside of the office, Nicole loves laying by the pool, outdoor walks, and spending time with family.

Kensy Bonilla

Bookkeeping Specialist

Kensy joined the firm in January 2022 and earned her bachelor's degree in accounting from Wilmington University in 2020. Prior to joining the firm, she was an insurance and financial services agent for six years.

Outside of the office, Kensy enjoys taking walks with her dog and cooking.

Kayla Ginsburg

Bookkeeping Assistant

Kayla joined the firm in October 2023 after graduating with a bachelor’s degree from Neumann University in 2022.

Outside of the office, Kayla likes to hang out with her friends and play with her cats.

Sara Liverman

Front Desk Associate

Sara joined the firm in 2023. Her responsibilities include client interaction and administrative duties.

Outside of the office, Sara enjoys going on hikes with friends and hanging out by the water.

Robert Baker, Jr.

Director of Quality and Compliance

Robert joined the practice in 2024 and is a seasoned professional with an illustrious career spanning over 35 years in the accounting and financial industry. He earned a bachelor's degree from the State University of New York College at Oswego.

With a heart for service, Bob serves on numerous charitable boards, providing professional guidance as well as hands-on services to those who are served. Outside of the office, Bob loves spending time in Saint Augustine, Florida with his wife, while trying to keep up with his three daughters and grandson.

Hannah Smith

Marketing Manager

Hannah joined the firm in 2024. In 2021, Hannah earned her master's degree in Business Leadership from the University of Charleston West Virginia.

Outside of the office, Hannah enjoys spending time with her husband, dogs, and family.

Fergus Cirillo

Office Mascot & Therapy Animal

Our office mascot joined the firm in 2008. As a West Highland White Terrier (Westie), his most important duties include keeping the team focused and helping clients relax. When he's not at the office or dreaming of catching rabbits, Fergus likes sleeping in the sun and riding in kayaks.
