$90,000 - $100,000 Per Year + Bonus + Benefits Onboarding Bonus of $10,000


Full-Time – Hybrid – Monday – Thursday in office – Middletown, DE

Retirement Plan (6% Employer Contribution), Dental, Life, Medical Reimbursement, Tuition Reimbursement/Student Loan Repayment, Quarterly and Annual Bonus Structure (up to an additional 20% of compensation), Maternity, Paternity and FMLA Leave, Paid Time Off, Onboarding bonus of $10,000 (half at 30 days and half at 18 months).

Our new family member will be responsible for:

  • Review and preparation of business and personal tax returns for small business clients from initial meeting through delivery and filing of returns

  • Preparation of tax projections on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis

  • Proactively communicating with clients

  • Organizing and update the tax database

  • Recording tax entries into accounting software

  • Understand and apply tax reduction strategies

  • Preparation and/or review of financial statements

Our new family member must:

  • Have 2+ years of proven work experience in Public Accounting in a tax role is a must

  • Must be a CPA, EA or licensed preparer

  • Developing knowledge of personal and business tax code, tax concepts, rules, regulations, forms and savings strategies

  • Experience effectively responding to notices from federal, state and local governments regarding income and payroll tax matters

  • Knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Desktop

  • Computer literacy, numerical skills and strong attention to detail are required

  • Experience in Ultra Tax, Accounting CS software is a plus

  • Knowledge of MS Word & Outlook as well as MS Excel is required

  • Excellent verbal, written communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to learn new processes and procedures quickly and execute them reliably
